I’ve identified as **TechMental** from Y2K through Web3, having registered [techmental.com](http://techmental.com) back in 2000, while being the sole steward of that portal for the next 25 years through typography, art, and music, not to mention a virtual reflection of how I evolved as an artist throughout time. From that experience, one tends to grasp the importance domains play in the “call of action” strategy businesses transact daily.

In 2018 I tokenized **techmental.eth** my first of many Web3 domain and subsequently in 2022 I added **techmental.tez** to my portfolio. In 2023 I curated a [TezTrash](https://www.oncyber.com/garbage) virtual labyrinth in **Oncyber** , a metaverse platform where five galleries portal into each other, consisting of over 200 pieces from my personal collection in what I feel are the avant-garde Tezos crypto artists from our community.

In late 2024 I was selected for [TezTalks Live #99: Artist Spotlight](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66uBLX2Uouk), which was really fun and super humbling, where I usually prefer being behind the lens. A few months later, I led operations and logistics during **Art Basel Miami** at **BitBasel - The Future of the Arts** , curating 150 artists’ pieces, including said Tezos artists’, showcased throughout the **Sagamore Hotel** gallery via digital screens based on size, orientation, style, and blockchain. I vertically aligned acquisitions exceeding $10K in art sales throughout the exhibition, while networking with hundreds of artists, collectors, and visitors from around the world on a daily basis.

My role in promoting domains is a daily task as it is, yet having an affiliate system rewarding the Tezos domain community is a proactive leap forward that I very much intend to support. In the past I’ve voiced my concerns and ideas on how to bring functionality to the registrar, and surprisingly enough, a few of those [ideas](https://discord.com/channels/760881721700384818/1029598490961133669/1283628226526314526) were implemented as a standard. I believe there’s more to be done to make Tezos domains a sought-after Web3 protocol within the domain industry, and I look forward to working with the **.tez** community in helping manifest those solutions.
